I went to Chamonix in November 2019 and I was mesmerized by the city. Although it hadn't snowed yet and I hadn't had a chance to ski or hike, the natural scenery pleased me. I will be back to climb Mont-Blanc and see Lac-Blanc next time!
Great ski area with an amazing scenery. Family like ski resort with a good balance of slopes, tending to intermediate-difficult. The view of the MontBanc from everywhere is insane.

Perfect for hiking around, way cheaper than Chamonix, but 5mn away, local shops are lovely.
Slopes in good condition, not crowded, many restaurants. Slopes are not that steep in here so fits for anyone. If you look some forest tracks this is propably one of the best resort at the area for that. Also some lunch tables free for use.
Good city close to Mont Blanc but not too crowded, perfect for those who seek to get out and enjoy the city view, ski area for initial starters, good place for families. Les Houches, has good restaurants and a grocery store. The train station takes you anywhere you want to go by minutes away. The prices range for accommodation is cheaper than others.
